Research Assistant

About the Role

GoHiya's Research Assistant will support inbound and outbound customer support, chat, email, quality, workforce, CRM, and client-service operations, with particular attention to research traceability. This role focuses on research assistance within contact center operations, ensuring every handoff shows what is complete, what is pending, and who owns the next step.

Strong performance is measured through fewer avoidable corrections, timely follow-through, and records that make the next action obvious.

Responsibilities

• Track the Research Assistant workflow by helping the team separate observed facts from interpretation.
• Own the Research Assistant workflow by documenting findings and limitations clearly.
• Coordinate the Research Assistant workflow by collecting information from relevant sources.
• Review the Research Assistant workflow by checking source credibility and recency.
• Maintain the Research Assistant workflow by organizing evidence around the research question.
• Ensure research traceability is accurate, secure, traceable, and ready for the next authorized teammate.

Role Fit

• Use Information Synthesis and Stakeholder Communication confidently in research assistance.
• Apply Survey Support while tracking exceptions, owners, or deadlines.

Position Details

Full-time, entry-level role. 100% remote within the United States.

Pay

Base salary: $42,000–$60,000 per year.
