About the role

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Research Analyst, Research Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0151909]. The Research Analyst works directly under a Senior Researcher within the Office of Research at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV on several research projects (funded as well as un-funded), with faculty, staff and learners, including grant-funded research projects.

Responsibilities

• Study designing and implementation
• Data collection, cleaning and analysis
• Aiding in completing and managing Institutional Review Board protocols
• Creating and validating survey tools
• Drafting reports, manuscripts, posters, presentations, social media and/or newsletters and websites
• Database management including data cleaning, data dictionary, and data curation, data dashboard creation/maintenance
• Other duties depending upon research priorities

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of training (e.g., Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar fields of Social Sciences)
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment

Qualifications

• This position requires a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of training (e.g., Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar fields of Social Sciences)
• Doctoral Degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of training (e.g., Public Health, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or similar fields of Social Sciences and 3-5 years’ experience in a Social Science setting is preferred)
