About the role
The Texas School Safety Center TxSSC is seeking a Research Analyst to assist the Associate Director of Research and Evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Manage data and conduct analysis related to the evaluation of internal training program deliverables and outcomes.
- Develop internal and external templates and reports on the evaluation of training programs.
- Collaborate in the development of data collection, data analysis, and dissemination of research information to various stakeholder groups.
- Ensure that schools and communities across Texas are safe, secure, and healthy learning environments through research, training, and technical assistance.
- Support key school safety initiatives and mandates outlined in Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code and the Governor’s Homeland Security Strategic Plan.
- Serve as a clearinghouse for the dissemination of safety and security information through research, training, and technical assistance for K-12 ISDs, open-enrollment charter schools, and community colleges throughout the state of Texas.

Qualifications
- A Master's degree in a relevant field such as education, psychology, public health, or a related social science.
- Experience in data management, analysis, and report writing.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
