About the role
The Research Analyst contributes to the organization’s research and evaluation projects by conducting data analysis, literature reviews, and applied research activities. This role serves at the direction of the Associate Director of Precision Analytics to support the translation of analytics into research products, reports, and publications that advance organizational learning and field-wide knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and evaluation activities in collaboration with the Precision Analytics team.
- Analyze data and synthesize findings for reports, presentations, and publications.
- Contribute to literature reviews and background research to support ongoing projects.
- Afford assistance in drafting presentations on research findings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate research into practice.
- Sustain technical and administrative support for a research project.
- Analyze and maintain data and/or specimens.
- Conduct literature reviews.
- Afford assistance in preparing reports, manuscripts, and other documents.
- Install, set up, and perform experiments; interact with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator.
- Maintain recruiting and scheduling research subjects; assist in developing or amending study protocols; assist in developing data collection tools; assist in building databases; and provide general administrative support.
Requirements
Has general awareness in research techniques or methods, regulatory policies and procedures, and relevant scientific field.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Skills
- Experience conducting applied research or evaluation.
- Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, Stata).
- Strong writing skills for research and publication purposes.
