About the role
Southeast Missouri State University is seeking a Research Analyst for the Institutional Research department. This position is full-time and begins on June 15, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain engaging, interactive dashboards and automated reports using business intelligence software and other reporting tools.
- Extract and manipulate data from warehouse and enterprise systems using languages/tools such as SQL, R, or Python.
- Collect and verify data to complete external surveys.
- Affords assistance in the completion of all required federal and state reporting.
- Coordinate various internal survey projects, from design through data analysis and reporting.
- Affords assistance in the development of predictive models and other analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, business, math, or education.
- Experience working with relational databases for data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access.
- Knowledge of research design and statistical analysis techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service.
Qualifications
