About the role

This position serves as a Research Aide and Interviewer, providing support for scientific investigations and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supports scientific investigations by performing routine laboratory procedures such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, basic assays, and cell culture.
• Aids in processing tissue and blood samples.
• Maintains accurate laboratory records and prepares materials and equipment for experiments.
• Maintains supplies and monitors inventory levels.
• Collects and organizes data, solves straightforward technical problems, and contributes to research activities.
• Assists with animal procedures and basic literature searches.
• Helps orient new students or staff to simple lab tasks.

Requirements

• Enrolled in medical school in good academic standing.

Qualifications
