Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the research facility and station operations.
- Maintain research records, databases, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
- Cook up office administrative functions, including mail distribution, bookkeeping support, office supply inventory, and purchasing.
- Cook up domestic and international shipping activities, including shipments to counter-season research facilities.
- Aid in planning and coordinating regional and local research meetings and events.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and administrative processing of temporary and seasonal employees.
- Aid in seed packaging, planting, and other research-related activities as needed.

Education And Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative support experience required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer.
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 15 pounds.
- Occasional assistance with research-related activities in laboratory, greenhouse, warehouse, or field environments, as needed.
Pay Range
The approximate pay range in Illinois for this position is $22 to $27 an hour.
Performance-Based Incentives
Performance-based incentives are available based on individual and company achievements.
Final Compensation
Final compensation for a candidate is commensurate with experience, skills, and education.
