The Stock Representative must have the ability to move, handle, and transport received merchandise, materials, or supplies to the proper locations utilizing pallet jacks, hand carts, or other means of transportation. They will also perform general stocking duties including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, and refrigerators, as well as receive, unpack, and put away or transfer daily deliveries of merchandise.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate to various outlets/stores as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of all merchandise and products.
  • Receive shipments in a timely manner.
  • Receive, unpack, and put away or transfer daily deliveries of merchandise.
  • Assist with store recovery and stock room organization.
  • Complete stock counts as requested.
  • Maintain and manage stock areas.
  • Perform general stocking duties daily, including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, and refrigerators.
  • Move, handle, and transport finished products, material, or supplies to other departments by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, and other means of transportation.
  • Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including backroom and shelves) and dispose of trash.
  • Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing them with information.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures and encourage colleagues to do the same.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Adhere to Resorts World Las Vegas’ five core non-negotiable responsibilities:
    • Everyone is an Ambassador – Treat the property like your own home, ensuring it is clean and guests get what they need.
    • Everyone works in Safety – Address safety concerns by correcting them or notifying the appropriate department.
    • Everyone works in Security – Report security concerns if you See Something, Say Something.
    • Everyone works in EVS – Pick up trash or notify the appropriate department for larger messes.
    • Everyone works in Guest Experience – Assist guests with a smile and notify the appropriate department if more help is needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle and transport pallets using a pallet jack.
  • Effectively communicate in English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • At least six months of experience as a Retail Stocker in a similar or related environment.

Physical Demands

  • Work is typically performed in a retail store environment.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
  • Prolonged sitting/standing.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS), and other instructions.
