Representative - Registration

About the role

The Registration Representative will be responsible for arranging efficient admissions for inpatients and those requiring hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures. They will ensure accurate collection of patient information and inform patients about hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and individuals needing hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.
• Ensures that all necessary patient information is collected and communicated to relevant departments.
• Interviews incoming patients or their representatives and inputs the required data into the hospital’s computer database.
• Distributes pertinent information to ancillary departments as needed.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience dealing with customers.
