About the role

Provides support, coordination and services in the areas of grievance processing, unemployment processing, post-employment arrest, and administration of collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the Employee Relations inbox, updates the Employee Association website, and audits, reconciles, and processes invoices.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all customers and stakeholders; reviews and verifies incoming and outgoing documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Performs a variety of administrative support duties for team leadership, including data management, word processing, and scheduling/coordination of meetings.
  • Determines employee eligibility to be rehired for the District and processes all related requests based on District policy.
  • Coordinates the District’s response to all unemployment claims and works with managers, HR staff, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely communication to involved parties.
  • Participates in project/work group meetings, takes detailed notes, supports current projects, and coordinates with the team to keep workflow on track.
  • Reviews collective bargaining agreement changes and ensures changes are accurately portrayed in final agreements.
  • Ensures employee inquiries are answered and/or properly routed in a timely manner.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serves as a backup for co-workers and/or other key business processes, as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in Human Resources, preferably related to FMLA.
  • Experience in a union environment and exposure to collective bargaining agreements helpful.
  • Experience with Oracle a plus.

  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without accommodations.

Pay

Salary Range: $48,896 - $58,676.
