About the role

The Representative, Dealer Collections manages communications and resolves issues related to dealer receivables. This role ensures accurate handling of balances, payment validation, settlement arrangements, and dispute resolution while maintaining strong relationships with dealer partners and internal stakeholders. The position contributes to the organization’s financial integrity by supporting effective collections, compliance, and customer service practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound communications with dealers regarding statements, payments, cancellations, and claims
  • Support dealer partners by negotiating settlements and payment arrangements
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand processes and resolve account-related issues
  • Provide exceptional service through multiple communication channels while handling complaints professionally
  • Escalate issues appropriately and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Analyze financial data to validate collections and ensure proper distribution of refunds
  • Collaborate with Sales and other internal teams to support dealer relationships and new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all communication activities in the system of record
  • Complete assigned tasks and special projects within established deadlines

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in auto finance, auto dealer services, collections, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong typing and data entry skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure
  • Team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Pay

Base pay range of $36,000 to $56,000 USD annually, varying based on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
