About the Role
As a Repossession Specialist, you will be responsible for locating customers and collateral using various investigative (skip tracing) techniques. All duties and tasks must be completed by adhering to FDCPA and CFPB regulations. You will manage a repossession queue to ensure collateral is recovered, work with agents to approve fees, coordinate repossessions, and provide the best possible information.
Responsibilities
- Perform and complete skip tracing activities on all assigned accounts to prevent charge off and company loan loss, including inbound/outbound calls to discuss delinquency resolution.
- Maintain and establish new repossession and transport vendor relationships.
- Manage all accounts from repossession assignment to the transportation of the vehicle to the auction.
- Complete required applicable paperwork, including sending all required Federal and State regulation letters.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections with a focus on skip tracing customers to prevent loan loss.
Location: Onsite in West Valley City, UT
Schedule
Monday through Friday from 9:00am–6:00pm with a rotating Saturday shift every 6 weeks.
