About the role

The Repair Technician I performs repairs to client swimming pools and facilities as directed by the Company.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs to clients' swimming pools.
  • Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
  • Consults manuals or other resources as needed.
  • Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and heating continue operating properly.
  • Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and swimming pool repair.
  • Ability to read repair manuals.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a related field preferred.
  • RAIL license or equivalent state license preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be able to carry 50 pounds at a time.
