Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities/Description of Tasks

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting at the component, sub-assembly, and system level, following approved procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements
• Work closely with repair logistics, quality, and engineering teams to support timely and accurate completion of repair orders
• Perform post-repair testing and inspection to ensure products meet specifications
• Verify compliance with engineering requirements, quality standards, and safety guidelines
• Identify repeat failures or abnormal results and escalate as needed
• Complete repair records, test results, and system updates in systems
• Ensure accurate serial number tracking and traceability throughout the repair process
• Follow work instructions, repair procedures, and change notices
• Provide clear feedback to engineering or quality on failure trends

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to ESD, handling, and safety requirements at all times
• Ensure repairs comply with IPC, ISO, and internal quality standards
• Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective action activities
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process or design improvement opportunities

Reports to

• Repair Supervisor
• SQM Management

Work Environment

• Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions required
• Exposure to tools, machinery, and moderate noise levels

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
