Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Repairs and calibrates tools, pumps and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair.
• Performs preventive maintenance services.
• Pretests of hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for proper form, fit and function.
• Troubleshooting, tearing down, repairing, reassembling and testing pumps, motors and tools in shop.
• Works with sales and service team members, engineers and customers to meet repair requirements.
• Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features.
• Maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload.
• Must have and be able to use own set of basic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations.
• Dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output.
• Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater lbs.
• Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching and reaching.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
