Responsibilities
- Repairs and calibrates tools, pumps and equipment requiring mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic repair.
- Performs preventive maintenance services.
- Pretests of hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools and links for proper form, fit and function.
- Troubleshooting, tearing down, repairing, reassembling and testing pumps, motors and tools in shop.
- Works with sales and service team members, engineers and customers to meet repair requirements.
- Checks tools for safety decals and safe operating features.
- Maintains an accurate schedule and record of maintenance.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications and interactions in a cooperative, positive and professional manner.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in repairing and maintaining tools and/or equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and successfully repair equipment or tools and plan a logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing workload.
- Must have and be able to use own set of basic tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations.
- Dependable team player with high energy and a strong commitment to quality output.
- Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater lbs.
- Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching and reaching.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clean and valid driver’s license.
