About the role

Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday–Friday Repair Technician with full benefits. We are seeking a responsible self-starter to service and maintain our equipment while providing superior customer service to our established field locations. The ideal candidate works independently, has a successful track record, and can self-manage daily productivity in a fast-paced equipment-servicing environment. If you have small-equipment or mechanical knowledge and like working with your hands, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical equipment problems
• Repair carpet cleaning machines as required
• Clean and prepare equipment for shipping to districts
• Organize and maintain the warehouse as requested (approximately 5% of workday)
• Bring a dynamic, outgoing personality and a desire to learn

Requirements

• General mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Prior experience repairing equipment (a plus)
• General knowledge of warehouse procedures
• Physically able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, and raise/lift/maneuver (lift, push, pull) 40–75 lbs (pallets, cleaning equipment, and products)
