Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on roofing and exterior structures.
- Collaborate with team members to assess project needs and timelines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Utilize various carpentry tools and equipment effectively.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must have a full range of physical motion as required to properly operate manual and electric power tools.
- Must have balance necessary to traverse and work on scaffolding and roofs.
- Will work in a variety of environments and weather with exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals in both indoor and outdoor construction and carpentry.
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds and 100 pounds occasionally.
