Repack Case Operator

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Knows and follows all company safety and food safety policies.
• Is flexible to work in different environments (cold/warm).
• Is flexible to cover for Poly operators when short handed.
• Relieves Poly operators for breaks and lunches.
• Helps with training of repack team members.
• Sets up and operates casing equipment and machinery.
• Maintains work area in an orderly fashion.
• Collaborates with other team members to ensure efficient and effective repack processes.
• Provides support for other areas of repack as needed.
• Affords assistance with line wash-down when necessary.

Knowledge, Skill And Experience Required

• Ability to read bag and case coding, ability to read scales.
• Ability to complete sample paperwork.
• Basic knowledge of equipment and machinery used in a packaging environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Essential Physical Abilities

• Stand for 8 to 10 hrs. per day.
• Lifts/pulls/pushes weights of up to 55 lbs.
• Work in a cold environment.
• Work in a warm environment.
• Work in a loud environment.

Pay

Hourly Wage: $20.74

Schedule

• 1-(Day shift)
• 1-(Night Shift)
