About the role

The Lab Customer Support understands and applies knowledge of specimen requirements when receiving specimens. Prepares specimens for testing as applicable. This can include: receiving, labeling, centrifuging and plating. Answers telephone calls and assists callers with any questions or concerns regarding specimen collection. Adheres to laboratory and safety policies including compliance with all safety, accreditation and regulatory standards.
