Rental Yard Coordinator

About the role

The Yard Coordinator at Yancey Bros. Co. is responsible for managing the yard operations, including loading and unloading machinery, maintaining equipment, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load and unload machines and attachments from lowboy trailers
• Log all incoming and exiting trucks in the yard management system
• Complete receiving and transferring of attachments
• Perform monthly inventory checks of attachments
• Maintain yard cleanliness and organize machines
• Cut yard with a mower
• Deliver parts to customers and other branch locations
• Participate in safety programs and ensure safe working practices
• Perform pre/post inspections on machines
• Handle additional duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (email, internet, data entry)
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation
• Basic driving skills and a clean driving record
• Ability to multitask and problem solve
• Safety-conscious behavior

Qualifications

• Experience organizing an equipment yard
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
