Job Summary
Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Rental Territory Manager to join the team. This is a lucrative sales career with unlimited earning potential and success.
What You’ll Do
- Report to and assist the Regional Rental Manager with all requested tasks and duties.
- Actively promote the short-term rental fleet to customers in your assigned territory.
- Frequent collaboration with the Regional Rental Manager to coordinate rental opportunities and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.
- Spend a minimum of 80% of your time calling on customers, either independently or with the Territory Managers, and review and process all incoming rental leads within 24 hours of receipt.
- Build relationships with re-rental partners and other companies to increase department revenue through re-rentals.
- Maintain and monitor fleet usage to identify under-utilized units.
- Maintain and monitor time and territory management to achieve the stated rental department goals.
What You Need
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
- Knowledge and experience of heavy equipment preferred.
- John Deere knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience of equipment rentals is ideal.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- Driver’s license with a good driving record.
