Rental Technician - Electrician
Brief Description
Our Rental Technicians are qualified electricians with hands-on experience. They are responsible for ensuring our equipment is fully operational and ready for any rental at any time. Their duties include preparing rental equipment, conducting inspections and quality assurance tests, performing preventative maintenance, and handling minor repairs. They also manage shipping and receiving of rental and sale equipment, maintain a high level of organization in various areas, and occasionally work outside regular hours for after-hours calls.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years as a qualified working electrician (Journeyman or equivalent)
- Experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning to high and low voltage systems
- Able to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids
- Able to locate and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment
- Able to lift/move heavy equipment (100+ lbs.), work at heights, and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work outside regular hours for after-hours calls as needed
