Rental Technician

About the role

The Rental Turn Technician provides timely completion of CGI, repairs and maintenance to various rental heavy construction equipment and machinery within shop at Ascendum Branch locations, according to established procedures, while maintaining good working relationships with customers and co‑workers. The U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) classifies this position as Non‑Exempt. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly maintenance of stored machines process
• Complete all delivery and receiving functions
• Maintain yard organization
• Complete and document pre‑loading inspections, as well as all attachment installations and removals
• Maintain, safely operate, and care for company owned tools and equipment per company requirements
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all safety training, product training, and service department goals
• Complete assigned work with minimum re‑work
• Ensure all company safety requirements are adhered to at all times
• Ensure all administrative functions are completed
