Rental Shop Attendant

Massanutten Resort Job Summary Position requires excellent customer service skills, basic computer skills, legible handwriting, and basic math ability. Must be comfortable working outdoors, standing for extended periods, and consistently lifting 10+ pounds throughout the shift. Duties include handing out properly fitted and adjusted rental equipment (skis and snowboards), snow removal, providing resort information, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Must be at least 16 years of age. Required Current rental binding certifications required (training provided) Preferred Experience working with ski and snowboard equipmentExcellent customer service skills Job-Type: Seasonal Typical Schedule Days Varies, including weekends and holidays as needed Hours Varied, mornings, evenings and nights as needed16 to 40 hours a week Compensation Pay: $12.77 Core Responsibilities Provide guests with properly sized boots (ski or snowboard)Size skis and adjust bindingsDetermine correct snowboard length and appropriate binding stance for guestProvide guests with correctly sized ski polesSweep floors and assist with other general cleaning of Rental ShopRemove snow from walkways around the Rental Shop and Ski OfficePerform repetitive adjustments and distribution of rental equipmentOther duties as assigned by management Applications are accepted until 2:00 PM on Friday, November 30.
