Rental Make Ready Technician

About the role
Responsible for the overall inspection of Rental equipment. Ensure that all quality, safety and general equipment condition are addressed, using appropriate forms are completed and submitted as instructed. Responsible for storing equipment in a safe, organized manner. Maintain a system for documenting equipment location. Keeping stored equipment in Rent Ready condition. Other duties that may arise to assist Transportation/Logistics associate, Shop Foreman, and Rental Manager.
Responsibilities
- Help load and unload equipment
- Inspect and clean rental equipment as received
- Inspect and clean equipment prior to delivery
- Complete rental inspection forms immediately upon receipt and prior to delivery
- Photograph equipment and submit forms as required
- Properly organize and document equipment location (parking spots)
- Keep workstation and bays up to ASEC standards
- Water and charge batteries daily based on established rotation
- Keep equipment in delivery ready condition
- Follow Shoppa’s Mid America safety and personnel guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in an industrial equipment field
