Rental Digital Coordinator

About the role

The Rental Digital Coordinator will assist Thompson Rents rental reps, rental coordinators, and branch managers with customer portal access requests. The coordinator will train Thompson Rents employees on customer portal usage, follow up directly with customers on portal requests, and qualify incoming leads, passing them to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate initiative, resiliency, a sense of urgency, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform research and analysis to identify new prospects and opportunities.
• Support rental reps, rental coordinators, and branch managers in qualifying and following up on rental and sales leads generated by outside sources.
• Track all incoming leads, record lead closure rates, and report to the General Manager weekly.
• Track all incoming customer portal requests and report to the General Manager weekly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• College degree or 2-4 years of relative experience.
• Experience using personal computers with basic typing skills.
• Ability to quickly acquire the following skills and competencies:

  • Relationship building skills
  • Problem resolution skills
  • Basic mechanical and parts identification skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Basic computing skills including Microsoft Office

Job Training

• TTCo and Caterpillar computer programs
• Microsoft Office Suite, Dynamics AX 2012

Working Conditions

• Work is normally performed in an office environment.
• Some work must be performed in the shop and field environment with limited exposure to physical risk.
