Responsibilities

  • Consult with and take rental orders from clients.
  • Cook up equipment needs and lay out delivery schedules to meet customer’s rental orders.
  • Handle rental equipment inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the Dallas Rental Operations Center (ROC) on inventory issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all BearCom customers.
  • A lot of the customer service involves basic equipment application troubleshooting and handling invoicing issues post-rental sale.
  • Keep the General Manager updated on rental revenue goals.
  • Market BearCom rental services to local events and venues.
  • Plan and install equipment for customer’s rental needs.
  • Program rental equipment using computers.
  • Enter and invoice rental orders through computers.

Requirements

  • One year experience in a fast-paced environment or events business is preferred.
  • A strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities with event holders.
  • Experience in writing and compiling reports.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Somewhat of a college degree or relevant experience in a similar role.

  • Some college preferred or experience in a similar role.
