Rental Agent

Rydell Auto Center is seeking a Rental Agent to join our growing team in our Service department. Our promise is to keep delivering the same award-winning service and value that our community has come to expect from our dealership through the years.

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to check cars in and out of the rental desk, add and pull vehicles as needed from our rental software, and provide customer service to all customers using rental vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Check cars in and out of the rental desk
• Collect driver's license and credit card information from the customer and enter it into the software system
• Generate rental agreement and get customer signature
• Check vehicle over with the customer for damages upon return
• Prepare the vehicle for the next rental by filling gas and cleaning the interior/exterior of the vehicle
• Add new vehicles into the rental software
• Pull vehicles at the mileage cap and get them ready to be taken out of the rental software
• Additional administrative tasks as assigned

Schedule

Flexible scheduling between the hours of 7am–4pm, Monday–Friday
