About the role
We are actively seeking a Rental Admin to join our growing team out of our Brookfield location. Since 1962, Wolter has evolved into a leading provider of industrial equipment and productivity solutions.
Position responsibilities
- Take phone calls for rental equipment.
- Fill customer and internal requests – check all resources if equipment isn’t readily available in fleet.
- Input trucking data into electronic logs.
- Work with outside freight carriers for out of state shipments.
- Place orders for any re-rents from outside vendors.
- Prepare and follow up on rental quotes.
- Enter hour meter readings in system on rental contracts.
- Close and invoice rental orders.
- Initiate rental orders and generate/distribute shippers.
- Process vendor invoices for payment.
- Manage the check in and check out of each rental and ensure that all attachments (forks, LP tanks, attachments, etc.) are returned at check in.
- Review the general condition of rental equipment upon return and make sure damages are billed to customer if appropriate (coordinate through service dept).
- Maintain rental equipment status in Quipware.
- Ensure all rentals are ready to go per customer’s delivery request.
- Aid credit department with customer billing issues.
- Manage hour meter readings on long term rentals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential skills and experience
- Demonstrated customer service orientation.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good computer proficiency.
- Must be certified to operate powered industrial equipment.

Physical demands and work environment
- Frequent sitting, walking, talking, and listening.
- Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls, including products we rent, computer and other office equipment.
- Frequent standing and walking, and lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Appropriate material handling equipment should be used to lift or move items that are heavy or bulky.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Noisier shop environments.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment whenever appropriate.
