About the role
The Renovations Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager and internal team members to provide detailed and accurate information as it relates to all materials onsite. They are responsible for updating the system to reflect information based on shipments received, audited, and receipted. They will oversee all inventory to ensure the stock meets the needs of the projects while also ensuring the warehouse areas are maintained, i.e, organized, and remain set up according to IRT’s best practices throughout the life cycle of the project.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize materials, appliances, and fixtures for renovation projects
- Keep things running like clockwork by assigning and distributing materials to the right teams at the right time
- Ensure accuracy and quality of shipments, verifying against work orders and delivery documentation
- Stay on top of inventory—track stock levels, place timely orders, and prevent material shortages before they happen
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and safe—your attention to detail keeps the whole team efficient
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all incoming and outgoing inventory
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and vendors to keep projects moving forward smoothly
- Pitch in with additional renovation coordination tasks to support the success of the entire team
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP software for inventory tracking and transactions
- Experience or understanding of inventory management and control procedures is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate multi-building properties, including stairs
- Comfortable standing, kneeling, squatting, or climbing for extended periods during the workday
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for occasional local travel
