RENÉE SCHOMP
Renée J. Schomp is the Deputy Director of Justice Catalyst Partnerships (JCP). At JCP, she manages the Justice Catalyst Fellowship program and does philanthropic advising to help launch and support early-stage projects at new and existing public interest organizations and agencies throughout the U.S.
In addition, she works at JCAF, a public interest litigation finance program that uses recoverable grants and program-related investments to support litigation by nonprofit and public interest litigators.
Before joining Justice Catalyst, Renée launched an award-winning nonprofit housing initiative focused on fomenting small housing as part of the solution to the national housing crisis. This initiative serves as a pilot model for replication by cities throughout California, the U.S., and Canada.
Previously, she supported nonprofits in designing collaborative strategies, programs, and partnerships focused on a wide range of social and economic justice legal initiatives as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at OneJustice.
Renée holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, a B.A. from New York University, and is admitted to practice law in California.
