Renal/Telemetry Clinical Nurse

About the role

Provides direct patient care on a specialized renal/telemetry unit, focusing on patients with conditions such as renal failure, CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, and post-operative cardiac issues.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promoting patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
• Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate's degree; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years experience is preferred.
