Clinical Nurse - Renal/Telemetry
Role Overview
Provides direct patient care on a Renal/Telemetry unit, managing acutely ill patients with conditions such as renal failure, CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, and post-surgical needs. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring safe and quality care while educating patients and families on illness management and post-treatment care. Promotes patient-centered, healing environments and participates in safety and regulatory activities. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience
- Ability to work safely and maintain constant alertness
