About the role

The Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel is seeking a full-time Bell Person to join their team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Bell Person will provide attentive, courteous, and efficient luggage assistance to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.

Responsibilities

• Escort hotel guests to rooms and assist with luggage to and from guestrooms.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming when working.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
• Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.

Requirements

A high school diploma is required, with experience in a hotel or related field being preferred.

Qualifications

Employees must be able to communicate effectively, have a positive attitude, and be able to work flexible hours.

Skills

Attention to detail, customer service skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are essential.
