About the role

The Technology and Digital Tools Director will oversee applications, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, support, collaboration platforms, and technical volunteer teams. Key responsibilities include developing technology priorities, coordinating technical leads, guiding procurement, and reporting risks and progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical technology priorities, principles, roadmaps, standards, and decision processes
• Audit tools, vendors, architecture, risks, costs, integrations, and operational readiness
• Coordinate technical leads across product, engineering, data, DevOps, security, accessibility, and support
• Clarify ownership, access, documentation, support, backup, and lifecycle expectations
• Translate program needs into sustainable technical plans
• Report risks, dependencies, progress, and recommendations to organizational leadership
• Promote privacy, accessibility, security, reliability, interoperability, and responsible AI

Qualifications

• Significant technology leadership, architecture, product, IT, engineering, or digital-transformation experience
• Strong governance, prioritization, vendor, risk, budget, and communication skills
• Broad understanding of cloud, SaaS, data, security, integrations, support, and software delivery
• Nonprofit or education-technology experience is helpful
