Remote Volunteer Fundraising Development Representative — Donor Outreach
About the role
The Fundraising Development Representative will provide relationship-building and prospect-development support for Believe in Me’s scholarships, education initiatives, community partnerships, youth programs, and volunteer work.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify fundraising, sponsorship, workplace-giving, and partnership inquiries.
- Research prospective donors, sponsors, employers, foundations, and community partners.
- Conduct respectful outreach by email, phone, LinkedIn, and approved channels.
- Maintain accurate contact notes, next steps, relationship maps, and follow-up schedules.
- Schedule introductory conversations for fundraising and organizational leaders.
- Support donor cultivation, sponsorship, matching-gift, volunteer-grant, and stewardship campaigns.
- Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, grants, events, board, finance, and program volunteers.
- Use donor and prospect information ethically and protect privacy.

Time and Location
Remote and flexible, approximately 2–3 hours per week. Ongoing participation is preferred.

Your outreach will help fund scholarships, youth education, community partnerships, and programs that create opportunities for young people. Volunteers receive orientation, approved messaging, prospect criteria, collaboration tools, and access to fundraising leadership.
