Key Responsibilities
- Owning application architecture and making technical decisions across frontend, backend, simulation, and data layers
- Leading sprint planning, code reviews, and stakeholder communication
- Developing and modernizing backend services with Python FastAPI, decoupling simulation engines, and ensuring data integrity
- Extending a React/TypeScript frontend with user workflows, validation, and security integrations
- Designing AI integration with government-approved LLM endpoints, ensuring audit and role-based access
- Implementing performance metrics, testing, and deployment pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with Python backend and React frontend
- Experience with containerization, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), databases like MongoDB, and AI API integration
- Strong communication skills and experience supporting government or DoD programs
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of simulation frameworks
- Experience with defense logistics
- Agile leadership
- Experience with DevSecOps tools
