Remote Tax Manager | No Billable Hours | Wealth Management | Up to $160k + Bonus

About the role

This role is the alternative to traditional public accounting. We are a nationally recognized wealth management firm with over $30 billion in assets under management, focusing on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.

Responsibilities

• Work on sophisticated HNW tax projects
• Collaborate with financial planning and investment teams for comprehensive tax and financial planning
• Manage client relationships and provide meaningful advisory work year-round
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals
• Handle client engagements with a focus on quality and client satisfaction

Requirements

• Active CPA or EA required
• 5+ years of HNW tax experience
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong technical foundation in individual, trust, partnership, and S-corp taxation
• Comfortable advising clients and financial advisors directly on complex planning matters

Qualifications

• Self-directed and polished
• Comfortable working fully remote

Skills

• Strong technical skills in tax law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Pay

Base salary up to $160,000, commensurate with experience
