Remote Tax Director

About the role

As Tax Director, you will lead the firm’s tax department, serving as the senior technical authority and driving Tax Advisory Services (TAS) growth. You will manage a team, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high-level client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of tax advisors and preparers.
• Drive TAS engagements and execute growth strategies for high-value clients.
• Own the quality and consistency of the compliance practice.
• Serve as the primary client-facing presence for complex tax engagements.
• Build and maintain training systems and QA processes.

Requirements

• CPA required; MS in Taxation preferred.
• 10+ years of public accounting experience in a leadership capacity.
• Mastery of tax strategy development and individual/business taxation.
