Responsibilities
- Provide proactive tax planning, advisory, and strategic guidance to clients
- Review complex individual, business, corporate, tax returns
- Analyze financial information and identify tax planning opportunities
- Lead year-end and ongoing strategic tax planning initiatives
- Manage and review the work of junior tax professionals
- Mentor and develop members of the tax team
- Stay current on changes in tax regulations and advise clients on potential impacts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Review financial statements and related tax information
Requirements
- 7+ years of public accounting experience with a CPA firm
- Tax Manager or Senior Manager-level experience strongly preferred
