Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications that support our core business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, to analyse requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate fully in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to deployment and support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure systems are well-understood and maintainable.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose new solutions to enhance our software portfolio.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Software Engineer in a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with relational and non-relational database technologies.
- A comprehensive understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is considered an advantage.
