About the role

The Web Developer’s primary role is to create and maintain client websites in collaboration with design and on-page teams. You will work closely with the SEO team to ensure website performance and implement necessary plugins. Responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and updating client websites and other online properties.

Responsibilities

• Update website layout, user interface, or WordPress themes using standard HTML/CSS practices (for SEO-only clients).
• Monitor website status and ensure optimal site performance.
• Collaborate with content, IT, design, and SEO teams to ensure websites are functioning and optimized properly.
• Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions with the SEO team.
• Implement website audit recommendations.
• Upload blog content to the site.
• Perform one-off tasks and site maintenance.
• Conduct monthly plugin updates.
• Update website content and implement approved design changes while coordinating with team members responsible for content production.
• Back up website files to local directories for recovery.
• Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Develop and validate test routines to ensure the quality of both external and internal interfaces.
• Ensure written code meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent courses.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, ReactJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Ajax programming.
• Proficient in WordPress CMS and plugin creation, cPanel, and responsive design.
• Knowledgeable in using Adobe Photoshop.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or SEO-specific AI platforms.
• Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven marketing workflows.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Previous graveyard or EST work experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a night shift for 8 hours, Monday-Friday EST.

Technical Requirements

• Own computer unit with high-performance specifications and a backup unit.
• Stable wired internet connection and backup.
