Remote - Senior Financial Analyst I

About the role

This position reports to the Manager of Finance and is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex financial information to support operational and strategic decision-making. It provides financial support to the organization, including oversight and analytical support for the monthly close process, coordination/assistance in the annual budget process, preparation and review of account reconciliations and annual audit schedules, and various other financial analyses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present complex financial information to support decision-making.
• Provide oversight and analytical support for the monthly close process.
• Coordinate and assist in the annual budget process.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and annual audit schedules.
• Perform various financial analyses.
• Work with leadership teams to frame analytical questions and communicate results.
• Work independently to meet project deadlines while preserving confidential information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of five years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial applications and processes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Computer literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA licensure.
• Healthcare financial reporting experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint.
