The Role

This is a 100% commission independent contractor position. There is no base pay. Keep 70–80% of revenue on every deal. High performing active reps can earn over $150,000.00 in their first 12 months. Top performers earn $750K+ plus six-figure equity grants. M1 milestone bonuses up to $2,500 per install milestone. Equity stock options starting with your first install. Vested equity that continues to grow over time.

Who We're Looking For

• You must have direct solar sales experience in at least one of Powur's active states to be considered for this role.
• We are specifically targeting experienced solar professionals who know one or more of our active markets.
• The ideal candidate:
• Has a proven track record of closing solar deals in a Powur active state — this is a hard requirement.
• Knows their market: regulations, utility territories, and local incentives in the states where they sell.
• Is comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor with no guaranteed income.
• Wants to maximize take-home pay and is tired of sharing too much with their employer.
• Can hit the ground running — we offer training and support, but we're not building your market knowledge for you.
• Not based in an active state? That's fine — you can live anywhere in the US. But you must have experience selling solar in at least one of Powur's active states.
• New to solar entirely? This is not the right opportunity. We are not looking to train people on solar fundamentals for this position.
