Its food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations throughout the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers daily at high-traffic venues such as commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.
About the Opportunity: The Remote Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and internal teams. This role is responsible for managing incoming communications, providing basic information, routing requests appropriately, and supporting daily administrative functions. The position contributes to maintaining efficient communication flow and administrative support within the organization, enabling smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, messages, and general inquiries
- Provide basic information and assistance to customers and contacts
- Direct calls and requests to the appropriate team or location
- Schedule appointments and coordinate basic requests
- Maintain contact information and administrative records
- Follow up on requests as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the team
Requirements
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, administration, hospitality, or a similar role
- Professional and friendly communication style
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling calls, messages, and multiple requests
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills
- Reliable and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and workspace
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Pay
$18–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
