REMOTE QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Remote Quality Assurance Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. In this operations-focused role, you will lead quality assurance and food safety programs that support operational goals and regulatory compliance. You will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen process discipline, reduce risk, and respond effectively to customer and audit findings. This position is ideal for a professional who can engage teams, drive accountability, and maintain strong standards across quality and safety systems.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute food safety and quality programs to meet operational goals
• Maintain and improve the Food Safety Plan through strategy development and deficiency identification
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and preventive controls in accordance with applicable regulations
• Manage allergen control programs and oversee accurate allergen labeling
• Oversee recall programs and ensure traceability of raw materials and finished products
• Supervise food safety audits from governmental and third-party agencies
• Address customer safety and quality concerns promptly

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and food safety manufacturing
• HACCP certification and Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI) certification required
• Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA regulatory requirements and standards
• Ability to engage and motivate personnel across diverse teams
• B.S. degree in food technology, food science, or a related field

Pay

$130,000 – $134,000 annually
