About the role

Talkiatry is a clinician‑led, virtual psychiatry practice that combines the stability of a hospital practice with the clinical autonomy of private practice. The role offers predictable W‑2 compensation and benefits, flexible scheduling, control over schedule, session structure, and patient population, with minimal administrative burden in a fully remote, outpatient model.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatry.
• Work with lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD).
• Treat patients across the lifespan — children & adolescents (by board‑certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists only), adults, and geriatric patients.
• Conduct standard session lengths (60‑minute intakes, 30‑minute follow‑ups).
• No inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis coverage.
• Utilize an in‑house referral network to therapists.
• Receive full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

Requirements

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible psychiatrist (MD/DO).
• Active, unrestricted medical license (multi‑state licensing support available).
• Interest in outpatient, 100% telepsychiatry‑based care.
• Comfort learning streamlined clinical technology.

Pay

Total annual on‑target earnings of $325k – $375k+, consisting of a base salary plus a monthly productivity incentive (guaranteed during the initial 6‑month onboarding period).
