Remote Psychiatrist Collaborative Physician (MD)
About the role
At UpLift, we act as the bridge between patients, providers, and insurers, empowering patients to find the best care for their needs at a price they can afford. Our mission is to provide psychiatric services to individuals who might otherwise lack access to mental healthcare, and we do so through a collaborative model that supports and supervises Nurse Practitioners (NPs).

- Maintain responsiveness for collaboration duties in accordance with state requirements and UpLift standards.
- Collaborate with UpLift’s network of therapists and other providers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Provide empathetic, evidence-based care while upholding UpLift’s clinical and service standards.

Benefits
This is a part-time, contract (1099) position — not a salaried employee role. Physicians may set their own schedules for patient care; however, collaboration responsibilities require ongoing responsiveness. Physicians may stop seeing patients at any time, but collaborative agreement responsibilities require a 120-day wind-down period to ensure continuity of care.
Pay
Compensation is paid on a per-activity basis and is not a guaranteed hourly wage or salary amount. Actual earnings vary based on state-requirements, completed activities, patient care activity, and other operational factors.
Schedule
This role is 100% remote, with care delivered via UpLift’s purpose-built telemedicine platform. Clinical decisions are made independently by licensed providers in accordance with state telehealth laws and professional standards.
