Remote Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology)

About the role

Auxira Health is seeking an experienced, independent-minded Nurse Practitioner to join their team. In this fully remote role, you will manage a panel of outpatient cardiology patients, providing high-quality care for chronic cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage Chronic Care: Diagnose and treat conditions such as Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure and Arrhythmias.
• Medication Management: Confidently initiate and titrate cardiac medications, monitoring labs and patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Patient Education & Collaboration: Empower patients through lifestyle guidance and education, while coordinating closely with cardiologists and sub-specialists (EP, Interventional, Imaging) when escalation is needed.
• Workflow: Manage a manageable daily volume of 10-12 patients and stay on top of inbox correspondence.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license.
• 3+ years of direct outpatient cardiology experience.
• Proven ability to manage chronic cardiovascular conditions independently.
• Comfortable with cardiac medication titration and independent clinical judgment.
