Remote Medical Director

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership for utilization management and quality improvement activities
• Perform complex medical reviews to ensure timely decision-making in quality assurance
• Support the implementation of performance improvement initiatives for healthcare providers
• Collaborate with clinical teams and medical consultants for complex cases
• Conduct rounds to manage care for high-risk patients effectively
• Participate in developing medical management programs and provider network expansion

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree required
• Board certification in Psychiatry specialty is required
• Utilization Management experience preferred
• Current unrestricted state license as MD or DO is essential
• Experience managing care for a culturally diverse population is advantageous

Pay

$236,500 – $449,300 annually
